2012 Golden Globes Timeline:
Pre-show on the red carpet started at 5pm on the E! network.
5pm: Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos are waiting for guests to arrive at the Beverly Hills Hilton. Giuliana's dress is a breath-taking silver and gray color with beautiful bead work. It is by Oriett Domenech. George needs a haircut. Kelly's dress looks like a bridesmaid's dress.
6pm: First person Ryan Seacrest interviewed was Debra Messing who I'm not a huge fan of and she wore a simple black dress that no one will remember. Ryan's tux is hot.
6:05 pm: Giuliana changed into a horrible black lace dress with a high collar. It looks like it's from the 1800's. Kelly changed into a horrible pale army green dress that looks like she is about to perform for the troops.
6:08: Nicole Richie's dress blue and is too matronly.
6:11: I hate Julianne Hough's gold dress.
6:17: I do not like Amy Adams' hair style. Her dress is an ugly bland color and washes her out.
6:19: Shut up Claire Danes.
6:20: Michelle Dockery's gold and white is very unique.
6:25: Zooey Deschanel looks pretty but nothing stood out except her awesome nails with film strips across them.
6:33: I don't love Tina Fey's red carpet black and white dress, but my mom called and said she did. I love Amy Poehler's tight black suit.
6:48: Gotta love Ross Matthews' gold blazer.
6:50: Some may think Mayim Bialik looked boring but she usually dresses as a frumpy hippie, so I am excepting this sheer long sleeved dress.
6:52: Carla Gugino's dress is awesomely elegant.
6:55 Lucy Liu may be wearing the worst dress of the night. A pale blue dress with a mixed floral print. Looks like curtains from the Queen's bedroom.
7:00 I do not like Jessica Chastain's sea foam green dress. I love her red hair but I don't like the style she chose.
7:08: Jennifer Lawrence looks gorgeous but the dress is a boring red with a gold belt. Her hair style is a great up-do.
7:15: I don't like Amanda Seyfried's lace white dress. She's got a stupid pin on the neck. Her hair is too long and dull. She needs more lipstick. Wow. so far so bad.
7:16: I think Naomi Watts looks nice in a burgundy dress. Her neck looks so old.
7:17: I like Taylor Swift's eggplant dress. Her earrings are beautiful with purple stones. Although the whole look is a little matronly for such a young girl.
7:20: Do not like Rachel Weisz cutesy black lace dress. I'm so over the short skirt and sheer from knees down.
7:21: Usually Julianne Moore has horrible fashion sense but she is safe with a simple black and white dress. The hem seems a tad bit short.
7:24: Love Kaley Cuoco's nude patterned flowing dress.
7:27: Nicole Kidman looks like a young sexy biker chick. Oh, it's Alexander McQueen that explains it.
7:28: Adele looks gorgeous in a simple black dress.
7:31: Second worst dressed of the night is Sienna Miller's dress with a floral lace print. Like a one year old's easter dress.
7:32: Marion Cottilard's dress is very similar to Jennifer Lawrence's but shorter. Same red color with a gold belt.
7:33: Julianna Margulies' dark purple lace dress is gorgeous. She must be freezing it's 55 degrees in Beverly Hills right now.
7:35: Megan Fox's dress is forgettable.
7:39: HAHAHA Ross Matthews said Zooey looks "Granny Chic".
7:40: Pregnant Kristen Bell looks lovely in a white beaded dress.
7:45: Kate Hudson looks super elegant in a black dress with gold detailing on neck and waist. Might be one of the best dressed.
7:46: Sophia Vergara looks like a bombshell in a black sequined dress.
7:51: Oh Lord, JLo spotting. Barf.
7:52: Anne Hathaway is in a white two piece dress I know I've seen before.
7:53: Salma Hayek looks stunning in a black sequin dress with a big bow on her hip.
8:00: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are the hosts. Tina's green sequin dress is very flattering. Amy's red dress is pretty.
8:02: Thanks Daniel Day-Lewis for playing along.
8:03: oh no Meryl Streep is not here cause she has the flu. I had that 2 weeks ago. Not fun. Jennifer Lawrence has it but she decided to still come. Don't go near her table.
8:09: Thank goodness Christoph Waltz won for best supporting actor for "Django Unchained". He was so good.
8:10: Oh Maggie Smith she always wins. Downton Abbey.
8:17: Eva Longoria keeps showing her legs off. Stop! You're like 5" and look desperate.
8:30: HFP president comes out. Time to warm up dinner.
8:31: Don't love Rosario Dawson's sea foam dress. But I think last year we could see her nipples so this is an improvement.
8:45: Adele wins!!! Such a good song. She's so funny.
8:55: Oh my Kevin Costner's speech sounded like he was dying and saying goodbye.
8:57: Wow Bill Clinton! Knew he would get a standing ovation.
9:03: Kristen Wiig and Will Farell are so funny.
9:06: Jennifer Lawrence wins best actress!!! Hell Yea!
9:17: Anne Hathaway wins and thanks Sally Field.
9:24: Best Screenplay to Quentin Tarantino for "Django Unchained". Well deserved.
9:26: Worst tux goes to Jeremy Irons. It looked like a night gown.
9:28: oh no Lucy Liu's dress again.
9:34: Sly Stallone and Schwarzenegger presenting. Can't understand either of them.
9:39: Hate Claire Danes. Hate her strangled voice. Hate her over-acting.
9:49: I keep seeing Jodi Foster with her guest Mel Gibson. I'm sure everyone is freaked out. I think it's hilarious.
9:50: "Brave" won best animated film. I hated it. So stupid, no plot.
10:19: Jodi Foster wins the Cecil B. DeMille award. She seems a bit young. Her speech is a roller coaster of emotions. She announces she is gay and is single and thanks her dying mother and teenage sons and best friend Mel Gibson. Very emotional.
10:23: Ben Affleck wins best director. Very stunned.
10:34: Christen Bale looks greasy.
10:36: Jennifer Gardener presents. She is so cute. Hugh Jackman wins something.
10:50: Jessica Chastain wins best actress. She is so strong looking.
10:53: Daniel Day-Lewis wins best actor in a drama. I love him but hated the film. It was a snoozzzzzzze fest.
10:57: "Argo" wins best drama over "Django Unchained." I am Not pleased.
11:00: BOOOO. definitely not enough Tina and Amy.
